All USD 383 employees must pass a background check. Reports To: Director of Maintenance Job Duties: Ability to work effectively on a team and/or individually. Clean and preserve district facilities and grounds according to industry/district standards. Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub and refinish floors; clean, dust and polish furniture; wash windows and walls; clean restrooms; dispose of trash; change light bulbs, etc. Support a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. Maintain inventory of supplies, tools and equipment. Perform routine maintenance to extend life of equipment and reduce repair costs. Repair furniture and equipment (desk, chairs, light bulbs, sinks, toilets, etc.) to ensure a safe and functional facility. Aid with set up and clean-up of building activities and programs. Assist with snow and ice removal. Promotes the safety, health and comfort of students and employees. Attend and participate in custodial and maintenance meetings and trainings. Conduct daily inspections/maintain awareness of facility and equipment to prevent injuries and/or damage. Any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
