Salary:
Hours Per Day:
- Additional duties available before and after school hours.
- Flexible hours depending on availability

FLSA Status:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Successfully passing the Master Teacher Para Assessment test OR a minimum requirement of 48 college hours.
- CPR and First Aid certificates are highly recommended.
- All USD 383 employees must pass a background check.
- Demonstrated aptitude for work to be performed.
Reports To:
Job Duties:
- Works with individual students or in small groups to reinforce learning of material or skills first introduced by the teacher.
- Reads to students, listens to students read, and participates in other forms of oral communications with students.
- Checks notebooks, corrects papers, and supervises testing and make up work, as assigned by the teacher.
- Helps students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by the teacher.
- Operates equipment used in the classroom for instructional purposes and material preparation.
- Assists with student supervision during lunch periods, assemblies, play periods, and on field trips.
- Maintains the same elevated level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of teachers.
- Performs other duties assigned by the teacher.
